Privacy policy
Short version: I collect the details you send me so I can reply to your enquiry. I do not sell your data and I do not add you to a mailing list you did not ask for.
Who I am
This site is run by Jesumbo O., a sole trader offering spreadsheet automation services from Reading, United Kingdom. For anything about your data, email [email protected]. I am the data controller for the information described here.
What I collect, and why
- Enquiry form. Your name, email address, the package you selected and whatever you write in the message box. I use this only to reply to you and to quote for the work.
- Booking a call. Calls are booked through Calendly, which collects your name, email and chosen time slot. Calendly acts as a processor and has its own privacy policy.
- Email, phone and WhatsApp. If you contact me directly, I keep that correspondence so I can pick the conversation back up later.
- Advertising measurement. If you accept cookies, the Meta (Facebook) Pixel records that you visited the site and whether you sent an enquiry, so I can tell which ads actually work. It does not tell me who you are.
Lawful basis
For replying to your enquiry and quoting for work, my basis is legitimate interests and, where a contract follows, steps taken at your request before entering into it. For advertising cookies, my basis is your consent, which you give through the banner and can withdraw at any time.
Cookies and tracking
The site sets no tracking cookies until you press Accept on the cookie banner. If you accept, the Meta Pixel loads and sets cookies used by Meta to measure and target advertising. If you decline, it never loads.
One small piece of data is stored in your browser regardless: your light or dark theme choice and your cookie answer. That never leaves your device and is not tracking.
To change your mind, clear this site's data in your browser settings and the banner will ask again.
Who else sees your data
- Cloudflare hosts the site and routes email sent to this domain.
- The form provider passes your enquiry to my inbox and does not use it for anything else.
- Calendly handles call bookings.
- Meta Platforms receives advertising measurement data, but only if you accepted cookies.
- Google Fonts serves the typefaces this site uses, which means Google receives your IP address when the page loads.
I do not sell your data, and I do not share it with anyone else unless the law requires it.
How long I keep it
Enquiries that do not turn into work are deleted within 24 months. Records connected to paid work are kept for six years, because UK tax rules require it.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask me for a copy of the data I hold about you, ask me to correct or delete it, object to how I use it, or ask me to restrict it. Email me and I will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS and enquiries reach me through encrypted connections. No system is perfect, but I keep the number of places your data sits as small as I can.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it.
